We treat common and sometimes challenging spine, soft tissue and sports-related injuries. Dr. Worell has advanced training and certification in primary spine care, lifestyle medicine and manual therapy. Primary Spine Practitioners (PSP) are health care professionals (usually a DC or PT) who are specially trained to provide primary spine care for patients with spine related disorders. The PSP has the training necessary to provide both mechanical & medical diagnosis (rule out serous pathology if necessary) and provide evidence-based management for the majority of patients with spinal disease.
Dr. Worell also has extensive training in manual therapy including IASTM, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation and Active Release Technique (ART®), which are specialized soft tissue & manual therapy techniques that impacts fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
